Noise and Vibration Mechanics Application Engineer (M/F)

One of OROS’s strengths is to be highly focused on its clients’ professional applications. This enables us to provide hardware platforms coupled with software application modules and a range of dedicated services for each application.

 

In order to reinforce its customer service department, OROS is recruiting a Noise and Vibration Mechanics Application Engineer (M/F).

 

Based in Grenoble, France, as part of the services department and in close collaboration with the sales team, you will be responsible for providing assistance and technical support to our sales personnel and network of representatives, mainly in Europe. Your main duties will be:

 

  • Participate in establishing and improving the sales offer provided by OROS through your direct contact with clients, your past experience and your knowledge of applications,
  • Organise and represent the company at various promotional sales events: exhibitions, trade fairs, conferences, seminars, user open days…
  • Take on the role of technical referee in a given field. As such, you will be asked to take part in providing training and support to our clients and representatives,
  • Identify and understand our clients’ requirements. Proactively involved in providing advice and technical proposals, you will seek out the appropriate solutions for their requirements,
  • Participate in supporting internal activities such as validation of new software solutions,
  • Occasionally provide post-sales technical support for our clients.


A graduate of a higher education degree specialising in acoustics or vibration analysis (a minimum of 3 years of higher education), you have ideally acquired experience in the Automotive or Aerospace fields (NVH, Modal Analysis, Test bench…).

In a global setting, a fluent level of spoken and written English is essential. For this position, your main strengths will be team spirit, good customer relations skills, and an interest in technical aspects.

This position is based in Meylan, France. Full-time, permanent contract (CDI) starting in May 2018. Occasional business trips within Europe.
