The Modal Solution is part of
the family of solutions proposed by OROS for Structural
Testing applications. The Modal Solution provides all necessary
tools for standard Structural Analysis applications as typically
achieved in Automotive and Aerospace R&D.
Generally speaking, the purpose is to determine the modal
parameters such as modal frequencies, modal damping and
mode shapes. A study can be first realized using a SDOF
technique (Single Degree of Freedom) which is a simple and
rapid step. If a more advanced approach is necessary, the
MDOF wizard (Multiple Degree Of Freedom) is used to obtain
the modal parameters. The Modal Solution allows to determine
as well Operating
Deflection Shapes (ODS).
In all cases, task oriented wizards let the user go through
each step of the method with no miss. The MODAL Solution
is so a full experimental modal analysis package starting
from a full set of practical tools for structural data acquisition
based on impact hammer or shaker set-ups. Cross spectra
or FRFs can be determined on up to 32 channels based on
OROS Analyzers.
Going through a user friendly wizard, the modal data and
results can be rapidly animated and reported in active reports
thanks to the Reporter.
Active reports make the results available to a whole working
group in the most efficient way.
