When?
The celebrations will start in the afternoon.
4PM-6PM: A Journey
Hop on the Bastille cable car for a customized and immersive site visit: our staff will guide you through the Bastille site.
Ahead of the party, each guest will receive a personalised meeting time. Please make sure you arrive on-time at the meeting point.
Dinner with a view
Later, we will pop the champagne and dine on top of Grenoble to celebrate our 40th anniversary!
We found no better place than the top of Grenoble to celebrate our Anniversary, facing the mountains.
Where?
We are celebrating on top of Grenoble – let’s meet at the Bastille site!
La Bastille is a 19th century fortified keep atop Grenoble, overhanging the city and beyond, with a 360° breathtaking view on the Alps.
The site is accessible mostly via a cable-car.
How to get there?
The meeting point is at the foot of the Bastille cable car – 3 Quai Stéphane Jay –
We will welcome you there.
You will receive a wristband that grants :
– 1 round trip via cable car
– access to the party

Please let us know ahead of the event if you are afraid of heights, we’ll make the necessary arrangements for you.
Party details
The Bastille site remains open to the public, but the party will take place in privatized areas accessible only with your wristband.
Dress code: Dressy casual – with comfortable shoes (this is a rather mountain-type site). The weather can get windy or chilly indoors and at nights.
Last cable car rides at midnight (unless specified otherwise).
Directions & Transportation
Airport and shuttles
Lyon Saint-Exupéry (LYS) airport is 1 hour drive from Grenoble.
Geneva Airport (GVA) is another option, 1h30 drive from Grenoble.
Regular shuttle buses ride from Geneva or Lyon to Grenoble.
Grenoble train station
Direct TGV trains from Paris to Grenoble several times a day (3 hours train ride)
Once in Grenoble : City bus
Uber service is not widely spread in Grenoble, this is why we recommend public transportation or car rental.
The bus/tram network is convenient and reliable.
Connection Train Station – city center:
Tickets available at the bus or tram stop.
