Rosenberg uses OROS for noise measurements in air conditioning and ventilation systems development
Rosenberg is a German worldwide company manufacturing motors, fans and air handling units for industries and buildings. The department in charge of fans’ development selected OROS noise and vibration testing systems to make sound power, vibration and temperature measurements on fans.
“The noise measuring takes place in an anechoic room with reflecting plane by the enveloping surface method. It is measured with modern OROS measuring systems” said a Rosenberg specialist for noise measurement.
Rosenberg uses a 12-channel OR36 with octave, FFT and Sound Power software modules, plus 2 temperature plug and play signal conditioners (Xpod). OROS GmbH also provided 12 microphones and 1 impact hammer.
