Order Tracking Analysis

Structural resonances of variable speed rotating machines (engine, gear box, motor) lead to critical NVH durability and performance issues. OROS order analysis and tracking techniques allow to identify sources of such noise and vibration.

Overview

Getting faithful order results from run-up/down requires specific signal processing techniques. This is true especially for high speed variation systems in automotive and aerospace applications.

Synchronous Order Analysis (SOA)

Provides stable and repeatable measurements for any speed-varying machinery. Using proven real-time angular resampling algorithms, SOA extracts amplitude and phase of orders; even from fast transients.

Constant Band Tracking

Measure gearboxes’ modulated and often buried noise and vibration orders.
